About Goldmakers Fine Jewelry

The Goldmakers boutique and studio have been operating out of historic Millers' Hall in Lawrence, Kansas, since 1991. We have a team of master craftspeople creating custom projects and making our in-house jewelry line. We also carry the collections of over 30 jewelers, designers, and small studios.

Meet the Owner Bernadette Rose Zacharias

I have been designing jewelry since 2005 and have assisted thousands of clients in creating the jewelry of their dreams. My education includes a BFA in printmaking at the University of Kansas. My designs are informed by a deep appreciation for art, culture, and the beauty of the natural world.

I took the helm of Goldmakers Fine Jewelry in 2016 after the retirement of my my parents who founded their shop in 1975. My mission is to collaborate in the production of new heirlooms and to curate a boutique of well made, interesting jewelry at every price range. I especially want to support artists, makers, and innovative designers.
