ABOUT THE ORNATEM COLLECTION

 The Ornatem Collection, featuring the designs of Mikhail Zakhalov, is handmade in his Brooklyn NY studio and sold at upscale Jewelry retailers and department stores throughout the world.   

Mikhail perfected his skills as a master Jeweler in the former Soviet Union and has been designing jewelry in America for over twenty years.   He is credited with mastering the reproduction of the famous and intricate enamel Faberge Egg designs for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  He has won many prestigious awards for jewelry design from the Jewelry Trade Magazines and from the Jewelry Industry.

In  2008  Mikhail was named the ‘’Rising Star’’ by a prestigious group of industry leaders from JCK Las Vegas Jewelry Show and featured in the Design Center.
